Many of you know the quality of Will's carpentry because you have samples of his "built-in" cabinets and mantles adorning your homes. I know the quality of Will's work because I have had the pleasure of working alongside him during some of the installations. I have seen the level of precision, quality and pride of workmanship that goes into all of his creations.

The "Word Oracles" reflect Will's creative side and his fascination with the origins and usage of words within our language. Will selected bass wood for its unique characteristics, cut them into cubes, and branded them with cherry red branding irons...custom made in a classic font just for this project. The blocks are then framed within a variety of creative enclosures. The finish and joinery are exquisite.

The end result is an art form that begs you to interact with it. It doesn't just sit there and appeal to your appreciation of art. You have to arrange the blocks to suit your fancy...and you'll find yourself doing that over and over. It is an art form that demands your interaction. Its fun.
